Wag Your Tail Along the Trail

Wag Your Tail Along the Trail

Dearest four-legged friends,

The moment has come for you to nudge your human companion and make your way to the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, from June 1st through the 30th. Each winery along the trail has prepared delightful treats just for you, the most delightful of all creatures, and ample pets and belly rubs await from admirers aplenty to make your tail wag with joyous vigor.

"But what about my beloved human?" you might inquire. Fear not, for they too shall partake in the festivities. At the very first winery you visit within the designated dates, your human will receive a 'pooch-friendly punch card'. Should they manage to guide you to 6 or more wineries, acquire a bottle at each, and turn in their punch card at the final stop (or mail it to the wine trail office), they will enter for a chance to claim a grand prize! The precise nature of the reward remains a closely guarded secret, but we shall reveal it in due course.

Take note, dear reader, of these important considerations for your human's awareness:

  • The tasting rooms of the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail's esteemed wineries are entirely pet-friendly, though restaurant areas are an exception.
  • Participation in this splendid event is free, save for any tasting fees your human may incur at each winery.
  • The first 100 who pre-register will receive a free bandana to enhance your undeniable charm. (see below to pre-register)
  • While we trust you'll be the epitome of good manners, please stay leashed at all times. We wouldn't want you to dart off with unchecked enthusiasm and lose your way.
  • Additionally, the wine trail has been busily planning further delights, including souvenir options to mark your visit, delectable dog biscuits to take home, photo opportunities, contests, and much more!

Yours devotedly,

The Canine Connoisseur and Wine Trail Leader
